Moss adds new metallic finishes to its Dune light

Dezeen Showroom: German brand Moss has updated its Dune luminaire, which is informed by and named after the flowing forms of sand dunes, adding three new metallic tones.
Dark Bronze, Copper and Gold are the new finish options offered as standard for the Dune modular hanging light, joining the original polished or anodised silver colours to bring new character to the undulating design.

The Gold finish radiates with a resonant glow that elevates any space, according to Moss, while the Copper brings a feeling of warmth and the Dark Bronze has a shadowy, atmospheric presence.
Designed by Moss founder Daniel Becker and in-house designer Elisa Bakaniev, Dune launched in 2024 and went on to win an iF Design Award in 2025.

The luminaires are composed of repeated petal-like shades made of curving aluminium, connected at their outermost points to create a flowing line. This shape evokes a shifting landscape of dunes, where one curve dissolves into the next.
They are available in two configurations – Dune Curve or Dune Cluster – that can be customised with the desired number of shades.
