Spektra armchair by Mati Sipiora
Dezeen Showroom: this statement accent chair by Polish designer Mati Sipiora has a polished steel, round-edged frame, giving it a futuristic aesthetic.
Designed by Sipiora and manufactured in his family's metal workshop, the Spektra armchair features a simple linear silhouette realised in different thicknesses of rounded stainless steel tubing.
While at first glance it is relatively restrained compared to other Sipiora designs such as his Poodle chair, the playful use of size gives it a cheeky twist.
The brand describes the Spektra armchair as an avant-garde creation that "embodies the essence of futuristic elegance".
It also showcases his family workshop's creativity and skill with stainless steel, shining a new light on the familiar material.
"The Spektra Armchair exudes a mischievous charm, with a design that seems to smile at you, inviting both curiosity and affection," said Mati Sipiora.
