Plus modular seating system by Francesco Rota for Lapalma
Designer Francesco Rota worked together with Italian brand Lapalma on a modular outdoor seating system made up of components that are all wide and deep enough to facilitate lying down.
The Plus modular seating system consists of various modules – including sofas, chaise longues, armchairs, daybeds and pouffes – united by their rounded edges and capaciousness.
Soleva outdoor furniture by Vincent Van Duysen for Molteni&C
Italian brand Molteni&C's creative director, Vincent Van Duysen, focused on aluminium profiles when creating this collection of outdoor furniture and tables.
Soleva outdoor furniture includes an armchair, sofa, stool, table and sun lounger that all share the same design language of metal and plump upholstery.
Oasis seating system by Antonio Citterio for Flexform
Architect Antonio Citterio worked with Italian brand Flexform to release a series of seating united by sides strung with taut woven mesh.
The Oasis seating system's modules are upholstered in weatherproof fabrics and can be configured in a variety of ways.
Azul outdoor chair by Paola Lenti
Stainless steel frames strung with taut belts support the seat cushions in this slimline outdoor seat originally designed by architect Lina Bo Bardi, now produced by furniture brand Paola Lenti.
The frames of the Azul outdoor chair come in various matt and gloss finishes, and the seat and back cushions can be upholstered in a selection of fabrics.
SuperRational modular outdoor sofa by Haldane
A cage-like, hollow base characterises this modular seating system by South African design brand Haldane.
The SuperRational modular outdoor sofa is informed by the graphic 1980s Memphis style, and can be configured in various ways, from conventional sofa layouts to conversation pits.
