Eight furnishings by British brands that show the diversity of UK design

Dezeen Showroom: London's Clerkenwell Design Week celebrates the best of British design. We've followed suit by detailing six designs by UK-based brands on Dezeen Showroom.
From wallpapers and fabrics from the archive of William Morris to a gleaming red lamp informed by London's chimney pots, the following products are by makers and manufacturers based in the British Isles.
This year's edition of Clerkenwell Design Week occurred between 19 to 21 May, with its 15th annual instalment giving rise to installations, exhibitions, product launches, talks, open showrooms, parties and workshops.
Read on to see the latest furnishings, lights and textiles by British brands and designers featured on Dezeen Showroom:
The Unfinished Works by Morris & Co
A series of wallpapers and fabrics has been released by English heritage brand Morris & Co, based on patterns housed at The Huntington museum in the USA.
The Unfinished Works are decorated with Morris's signature repeating botanical motifs, which can adorn walls and soft furnishings alike.

A thick, cylindrical base crowned by a lobed linen shade forms this table chunky lamp by one of lighting brand Tala's in-house designers, Zoe Stark.
The Heath table lamp is named after the capital's Hampstead Heath, and its form is reminiscent of the statuesque chimney pots, which are seen throughout the city's skyline.
Larder cupboard by Inglis Hall
Sussex-based kitchen maker Inglis Hall has released a solid wood cabinet for storing crockery and dry goods, as opposed to the design's original purpose of storing workshop tools.
The Larder cupboard is over two metres tall, and its double doors can be fully opened up to reveal shelving and nooks for storage.
British workplace brand Bisley now offers a selection of the products in its catalogue in a new jewel-toned green colourway.
Aiming to be as timeless as the brand's filing cabinets, storage units, open shelving and lockers, Emerald has a deep and rich appearance.
Shellen and Cove recycled voiles by Skopos
British brand Skopos's two new voile fabrics have a sheer quality, making them suitable for translucent window treatments.
Shellen and Cove recycled voiles are made from 100 per cent recycled, flame-retardant polyester and come in various neutral tones.
