Dezeen has launched a brand new podcast that will see our journalists discuss the key design and architecture stories of the week, with the first episode now available for listening.
Called Dezeen Weekly, the podcast offers a handy briefing on significant developments across the world of design, architecture, interiors and technology.
In the first episode, Dezeen features editor Nat Barker and design and environment editor Jennifer Hahn consider what a project for the largest airport in Africa (if not the world) says about aviation design in 2026.
Then, they weigh up whether a new autistic Barbie is cynical or sincere, and relay architects' concerns over the recovery from the devastating wildfires that shocked Los Angeles in January 2025.
