Plissé sofa by Bertrand Lejoli for Paola Lenti

Dezeen Showroom: furniture brand Paola Lenti worked with Antwerp-based industrial design practice Bertrand Lejoli on a sofa durable enough for life outdoors.

Forming part of Paola Lenti's Aqua Collection 2026, the outdoor sofa has a matte or glossy stainless steel frame and is equipped with elastic straps and plastic feet.

The covering is hand-woven using Chain Outdoor tubular knit.

The removable seat and back cushions contain padding made from recycled and biodegradable polyester fiber, a polyurethane insert, and a fixed water-repellent polyester lining.

Its cover is also removable and can be upholstered in various outdoor fabrics exclusively made by Paola Lenti.

All of these components result in a sofa well-equipped to withstand the harshest of outdoor conditions while providing a comfortable seat in clement weather.
