Grounded rugs by Plesner Patterns among six new products on Dezeen Showroom
Dezeen Showroom: a collection of woollen rugs decorated with patterns that reference flowers, forests and leaves is among six new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.
Grounded rugs by Plesner Patterns and InHouse Group
Norwegian studio Plesner Patterns has applied playfully abstracted designs based on the natural world to these rugs, which come in various bright and neutral colourways.
Grounded rugs come in three nature-informed patterns – Wild Meadow, Forest Ground and Leaf – each of which is hand-tufted in India from 100 per cent wool.
The rugs were recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside a room divider that doubles as a display stand and noise-dampener and marble surfaces decorated by naturally occurring red and green striations.

Flotex flocked flooring by Forbo Flooring
UK manufacturer Forbo Flooring's Flotex flocked flooring is covered in digitally printed patterns created in-house by eminent designers or by the end user.
The flooring has a flocked surface, meaning that it has the warmth and tactility of carpet but is as easy to clean as hard flooring.
Join and Mending fabric by Nanimarquina and Designtex
Spanish rug brand Nanimarquina collaborated with US company Designtex on a duo of contract fabrics that mimic the endearingly imperfect look and feel of handmade textiles.
Join and Mending fabrics are both made from woven polyester, come in a variety of colourways and can be used for upholstery soft furnishings in high-traffic interiors.

Acoustic solutions brand Zilenzio's Giro acoustic room divider has a trio of functions: zoning spaces, controlling noise levels and displaying objects.
The pieces come in various sizes and finishes. Each features curved corners, sound-absorbing materials and space on the shelf-like top to put books and lamps.
Moov Up tiles by Ceramiche Keope
Italian brand Ceramiche Keope has launched a range of porcelain surfaces that resemble the look of cement.
Moov Up tiles come in various size formats and colours, including neutrals and brighter tones.
