Shellen and Cove recycled voiles by Skopos

Dezeen Showroom: British brand Skopos has launched two new voile fabrics that facilitate sheer window treatments and organic-feeling backdrops in contract projects.
Made from 100 per cent recycled, flame-retardant polyester, the Shellen and Cove voiles deliver on sophistication, privacy control and fire safety, helping to gently reduce glare from the sun when used on windows and adding softness and sound absorption when used as room dividers or against walls.

The Cove range offers simple matt colours with a subtle woven appearance, while the Shellen collection adds a more pronounced texture with its slubbed yarn bringing more depth to the surface.
Both ranges are available in 15 colours ranging from nature-inspired neutrals to deep muted tones.

Designed for practicality as well as visual appeal, the voiles are washable at 30 degrees celsius and come in wide-width constructions so they can be used on large windows.
According to Skopos, they are ideal for environments such as hotels, serviced apartments and communal spaces, giving designers the opportunity to add layers or gentle colour highlights into their interior schemes.
