Reloaded ceramic surfaces by Diesel and Iris Ceramica

Dezeen Showroom: Italian tile manufacturer Iris Ceramica has once again partnered with clothing brand Diesel, this time creating a new ceramic surface through their Reloaded collaboration.
Reloaded sees Iris Ceramica experiment with the pop and fashion influences of the Diesel brand, blending craftsmanship and youthful creativity.

Overseen by Diesel creative director Glenn Martens, this year's collaboration involved the creation of two new products – the antique carpet-inspired Dys Distressed Rug and the Acid Majolica ceramic tile – which were showcased at Milan design week.
Based on traditional Portuguese majolica tiles, Acid Majolica features an elegant but distorted pattern as if "on acid", giving a bold and contemporary look.

The new collection of ceramic tiles incorporates both large slabs and small formats, and can be customised with Iris Ceramica's Design Your Slabs technology.
This digital decoration technique lets the company print any graphic or illustration onto its slabs in high definition, delivering a personalised and impactful ceramic surface.
