Lino Style linoleum collection by Tarkett
Dezeen Showroom: natural linoleum is given a modern and delicately patterned update in French brand Tarkett's Lino Style flooring collection, which takes inspiration from stone.
The Lino Style linoleum collection features subtle patterns informed by mineral surfaces and is intended to bring a grounded and calm feel into interiors.
It is available in two sub-ranges: the marble-like Style Emme with elegant tone-on-tone veining and the travertine-influenced Style Elle with gentle striations that evoke mineral layers.
Style Emme is available in a palette of 30 earthy colours and Style Elle in eight, with the hues and patterns in both collections intended to be easily mixed-and-matched.
Linoleum has re-emerged in recent years as popular choice for sustainability-minded designers, as it is made of natural ingredients such as linseed oil, pine resin, wood flour and cork, making it recyclable. Tarkett's lino is made from 94 per cent natural ingredients.
"What makes this collection unique is its balance between heritage and modernity," said Tarkett designer Valérie Pavard. "The Lino Style collection tells a story inspired by mineral texture, revealing the design of the material."
