Gozney's Dome Gen 2 oven enables "restaurant-grade live-fire cooking at home"

Promotion: feedback from Michelin-starred chefs informed the upgraded version of Gozney's Dome outdoor oven, offering 90 per cent more cooking space and the option to cook with wood, gas or charcoal so that home cooks can go "beyond pizza".
The Dome Gen 2 Series was designed to take the unpredictability out of live-fire cooking, with an integrated Wood-Fire Control Kit that allows users to dial oxygen directly into the fire and control its intensity.
"We've engineered wood to be just as accessible as gas," company founder Tom Gozney explained. "There's even a boost mode for hitting those intense Neapolitan temps."
At the same time, Gozney's signature lateral gas burner provides a "wood-like flame profile" while offering incremental adjustments via an improved digital console for consistent, even heat.
Dome Gen 2 also adds charcoal as a third fuel option, allowing home cooks to go "beyond pizza" to slow-roast and smoke different dishes.
"Dome Gen 2 is a huge leap forward, not just in features but in how it empowers people to cook," Gozney explained. "There's nothing like it on the market."
Gozney, who is a self-taught designer, originally founded his company in 2010 out of a desire to bring loved ones together through the ritual of live-fire cooking while recovering from addiction.
The company originally worked on creating wood-fired ovens for commercial kitchens before applying the same expertise to home kitchens.
The original Dome model, released in 2021, was billed as "the world's most advanced compact pizza oven" and promptly took home a Red Dot Design Award, as well as being named one of TIME Magazine's Best Inventions of 2021.
So when it came to improving the product, Gozney sourced feedback from a roster of renowned chefs over the course of four years, including James Beard Award-winner Chris Bianco, BBQ pitmaster Rasheed Philips and Michelin-starred Thai-American chef Dalad Kambhu.
"Our ambassadors don't just endorse the product, they live with it, cook on it, push it," Gozney explained. "They've played a real role in helping shape Dome Gen 2 by feeding back insights from both home and restaurant use."
"We've elevated everything: More space, smarter controls, and a design that doesn't just fit into your outdoor space, it transforms it."
To enable "restaurant-grade live-fire cooking at home", the final design is available in two sizes. The standard size offers 40 per cent more cooking space than the previous model, while the Dome XL amps that up to 90 per cent, accommodating multiple dishes at once, including up to three 10-inch pizzas.
The hybrid fuel system – accommodating wood, gas and charcoal – is perhaps the biggest breakthrough.
Paired with twin meat probes, a built-in timer and embedded sensors to track both air and floor temperature, it provides home cooks with maximum control over the final outcome.
Dome 2 is available in either a bone and off-black colourway, with components designed for easy access, repair, and upgrades to ensure maximum durability.
