Five architecture and design events in January from Dezeen Events Guide

Maison&Objet, DesignTO and CES are among the architecture and design events featured in Dezeen Events Guide this month.
Other events taking place in January include design trade shows Ceramics Brussels and Top Drawer S/S.

CES
6 to 9 January, USA
Technology trade show CES will return to Las Vegas in January, hosting exhibitions and talks at different venues across the city, including Mandalay Bay, Wynn and Aria.
The event highlights a range of technology products, spanning the healthcare, energy, cinema and entertainment, and vehicle industries, as well as artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) developments.
Top Drawer S/S
11 to 13 January, UK
Interior trade show Top Drawer will present the first of its two annual events at Olympia London, spotlighting designs across eight categories: Home, Gift, Fashion, Wellbeing, Greetings and Stationery, Food Emporium, Launchpad and Play.
The three-day trade show will display over 25,000 products from over 500 brands, as well as hosting talks, masterclasses and workshops.
Maison&Objet
15 to 19 January, France
Maison&Objet is a Paris-based design trade show that will host its first edition at the start of the year, followed by a September event that takes place during Paris Design Week.
Located at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, the exhibition will showcase products across seven categories: Signature and Projects, Decor and Design, Fine Craft, Fragrance and Wellness, Fashion and Accessories, Gift and Play, and Maison&Objet in the City.
Ceramics Brussels
21 to 25 January, Belgium
The Ceramic Brussels fair will present its third iteration in 2026, celebrating Spanish design, with the nation selected as its guest country. It will also showcase the work of Austrian artist Elmar Trenkwalder, who was announced as the guest of honour.
Projects by more than 70 international designers, artists and galleries will be on display over five days at Brussels' Tours & Taxis venue.

DesignTO
23 January to 1 February, Canada
DesignTO is a 10-day festival taking place across Toronto, offering a programme of more than 100 events, including exhibitions, fairs and trade shows, talks, workshops and open studios.
One of the largest events taking place during the design festival is the trade show IDS Toronto, which will showcase furniture, textiles and design objects at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from 22 to 25 January.
