The handcrafted furniture made from tightly compressed rolls of paper salvaged from pleated garment production by Issey Miyake was unveiled at Milan design week.

Readers were intrigued by the design, with one saying "the subtle colours and shapes are beautiful". While another said, "the armchair can’t seriously be used as a chair, so it's essentially wasting reusable materials for the sake of art".
