Capri Performance Tops by PoliLam

Dezeen Showroom: US brand PoliLam has developed an ultra-thin countertop panel collection equipped with coordinated edges for visual seamlessness.

Capri Performance Tops are an unobstructive alternative to bulkier surface slabs, owing to their thickness of just half an inch.

This slenderness doesn't detract from their durability, which boasts a high level of resistance to impact and scratches, according to PoliLam.

It also deviates from other surfaces on the market in its coordinated core colour. While standard laminates have contrasting edges, Capri Performance Tops contain a choice of four core options that correspond with nine original stock surface designs.

This coordinated core allows an enhanced level of visual seamlessness.

The surfaces are designed for use in residential and hospitality environments, and are able to withstand what PoliLam describes as "long-term daily use".

They are resistant to water, heat, acids and wear, and have integrated antibacterial protection that ensures hygienic performance in kitchens, bathrooms and other demanding environments.
