EBBA Architects founder Benni Allan refurbished his London apartment in a former tea factory, outfitting the walls, floors, furniture and speakers in Douglas fir.

One commenter praised the home, calling it "wood at its finest". Another who was less keen described it as "dark and unappealing" and likened it to "a mediocre showroom for other products".
