Modulyss lists carpet tiles on Dezeen Showroom
Dezeen Showroom: Belgian flooring brand Modulyss has published some of its carpet tiles on our Showroom section, including ones decorated with a dappled pattern reminiscent of light on water.
Haelo carpet tiles come in a pair of styles, representing two distinct takes on the wider dappled pattern – dynamic Lume and streaky Ray.
Both imbue the look of the reflections created when light strikes water, and aim to create a calming, continuous flooring solution for contract environments.
Each is tufted with the brand's Thrive matter yarn, which is composed of 90 per cent certified recycled content, according to the brand.
A soft and organic appearance is created by the use of the brand's Rust carpet tiles, named after and designed in reference to how materials respond to contact with water.
Users can select from 12 colours, which can be mixed and matched both within the range and with other tiles in Modulyss' catalogue.
The front of the Plus collection tiles comes in three styles, Monus, Arta and Forma, which each come in various colourways.
The reverse side of the tiles is made from ecoBack Plus, which contains polyolefin and biomaterials containing 85 per cent recycled or renewed content.
The brand's Artcore flooring aims to mimic the way that landscapes fade into one another gradually across the topography of the land.
The tiles, regardless of style and hue, are made out of 100 per cent Econyl recycled yarn, paired with a PVC- and bitumen-free backing.
A sub-brand of flooring company Belysse, Modulyss is headquartered in Belgium and was founded in 2010.
The brand specialises in producing carpet tiles for high-traffic interiors, including offices, law firms and auditoriums.
