Govee's Lantern Floor Lamp mimics sunsets and natural daylight

Promotion: smart lighting brand Govee has launched a lantern-shaped floor lamp, which mimics natural daylight patterns to seamlessly integrate into a home's circadian rhythm.
Named the Govee Lantern Floor Lamp, the lamp emits what Govee calls "Halo Gradient Lighting".
This ring-shaped glow is designed to evoke natural light phenomena such as sunsets, golden hour and evening skies, altering a room's mood, feel and function.
The lamp features a rounded illuminated diffuser balanced on a slim cylindrical stem, creating a silhouette that references traditional portable lanterns rather than conventional smart-home products.

Designed to function as both ambient and task lighting, the Lantern Floor Lamp emits an even, atmospheric glow intended to function as both mood lighting and practical illumination.
Govee explained that the effect is powered by its proprietary LuminBlend+ colour-management technology, which aims to produce smoother tonal transitions without visible banding.
The lamp offers brightness up to 1,400 lumens and an adjustable colour temperature range spanning warm amber tones through to cooler daylight hues.
According to Govee, this helps spaces shift naturally between an environment for focusing, relaxation, entertaining and downtime.
The lamp was also designed to blend into a variety of interiors, from minimalist living spaces to cosy reading corners.

The lamp can be controlled through the Govee app or smart-home platforms, including Matter, Alexa, Google Home and SmartThings.
However, rather than relying solely on app controls, the lamp incorporates a tactile tap-sensitive interface positioned on its top, allowing users to cycle through lighting effects without opening the app.
Additional features include AI Lighting Bot 2.0, a conversational system that generates custom lighting scenes from text prompts, alongside a DaySync mode, which introduces automated all-day scheduling and adjusts colour temperature in line with natural circadian rhythms.
Govee explained that this results in a seamless transition from energising morning light to warmer, more relaxing tones in the evening.
The lamp includes more than 100 preset scene modes and 16 music-reactive lighting settings.

Founded in 2017, Govee produces app-connected ambient lighting products spanning domestic interiors, gaming setups and outdoor spaces.
The brand has increasingly focused on combining smart-home technology with softer, more decorative forms intended to integrate into contemporary interiors rather than resemble conventional consumer electronics.
