Antolini lists natural stone-based products on Dezeen Showroom
Dezeen Showroom: from speakers to stone surfaces, Italian brand Antolini has published a range of its stone products on Dezeen Showroom.
Antolini's quartz stone forms the pedestal-like base of the Beosound Balance Natura speaker, while audio brand Bang & Olufsen provided sound-related expertise.
Available in glacier-like Cristallo Vitrum "Wow" and pink-hued Cristall Rosa "Wow" stones, the speakers' plinths serve to add visual interest to the product while elevating the actual speaker component to optimum height.
Gold- and silver-toned aluminium components serve to transition the object from the striated stone below to the technical components that crown it.
The Silver Stream Stratos Finish was devised by Antolini to add a textural, pinstripe-like finish to the brand's Silver Stream marble.
Antolini described the pairing of Silver Stream marble and the Stratos Finish as creating a "truly unparalleled effect, a harmonious fusion of elements that elevate each other's beauty."
Designer Alessandro La Spada created the Couture Collection surfaces range for Antolini in a bid to combine the brand's signature stone with other materials.
Among the 12 available patterns are floral Ginko and linear Net, which combine natural stone with metallic inlays.
A greyscale appearance characterises the brand's Cipollino GreyWave marble.
The monochromatic stone is made up of scudding bands of white, dark and grey, creating a dynamic aesthetic.
Webs of dark green veining spread across the burgundy-coloured surface of the brand's naturally-mined Quarzite Rosso Levanto stone.
Like many of the stones in Antolini's catalogue, the stone can be used for a myriad of applications, from for architectural cladding and interior surfaces to artistic installations.
Antolini is based in Verona, Italy. It was founded in 1956 and specialises in the procurement and processing of naturally occurring stone.
The brand's catalogue contains a host of different stone types, carrying various unique patterns and colourways that can be used for a range of applications.
