The Splash Lab's Lumashelf establishes "new dawn in handwashing"

Promotion: international commercial bathroom and washroom brand The Splash Lab has unveiled a handwashing system, Lumashelf, which it says "brightens the handwashing ritual".
Lumashelf was designed for high-traffic bathrooms and is available in several finish combinations. It features a sculptural "floating sink" that aims to bring a creative experience to handwashing.
The factory-tested product comes pre-assembled and includes fully integrated systems, such as water, soap and an optional over-the-sink hand dryer.

According to The Splash Lab, the core of Lumashelf's design is its illumination. Its designer, the brand's creative director Leendert Tange, says it aims to "light the way to better handwashing".
The Lumashelf system's intuitive lighting intends to make the handwashing experience "pleasant, hygienic, and efficient for on-the-go users".

"At The Splash Lab, we believe that restrooms are more than just a utilitarian space; they're considered areas for design, product innovation, and modular versatility," said CEO of The Splash Lab Justin Lovell.
"Since our inception, we've led with a future-oriented vision and the goal of addressing the multi-uses of the restroom and improving the restroom experience," Lovell added.

The company explained that, unlike comparable products on the market that still require separate specifications, the product's integrated design elements significantly reduce installation time by ensuring a quick process without the need to install separate elements.
"With the Lumashelf, our challenge was to design a unified solution that integrates function and form, improves installability, simplifies maintenance, and enhances intuitiveness for the end user," said Tange of their design.

The brand explained that Lumashelf spotlights The Splash Lab's design approach in challenging conventional bathroom product design through innovation.
Across all its products, it aims to create solutions with high sustainability standards, utilising materials and technology that make "environmentally conscious restrooms a delight to use".

Lumashelf comes in one to three user modules, and specifiers can choose from four standard finish combinations. Additional components, such as the Lumabin and Lumamirror, can also be specified.
The Splash Lab creates bathroom solutions for high-traffic spaces. The company has collaborated with designers and architects on some of the world's highest-profile corporate and commercial projects, including Apple Park in Cupertino, California and London's Heathrow Airport.
