Flokk has rereleased a task chair originally designed in 1984 by industrial designer Peter Opsvik, which is made distinctive by its cruciform backrest and saddle-like seat.
Featured in fashion shows, television sets and workplaces worldwide, the HÅG Capisco task chair's futuristic aesthetic has given it enduring popularity.
The chair was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside tiles made from demolition waste and a lounge chair that takes cues from cursive signage fonts.

Interior designer Tom Black's Oval coffee table comprises an oval-shaped top that sits on a four-legged, bow-shaped base.
The contrast in different wood patterns and tones on the legs and top creates richness, with the curved edges referencing the arches and domes in Italian architecture.
Swiss brand Laufen has developed a new material called Vitreon steel, which aims to combine the strength of steel with the smoothness of glass.
