Amia chair by Miniforms among 10 new products on Dezeen Showroom
Dezeen Showroom: a padded, upholstered chair that was "conceived like a sofa" is among 10 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.
Amia chair by E-ggs for Miniforms
Italian brand Miniforms has continued to work closely with design studio E-ggs, this time co-producing a chair with padding and upholstery covering all of its surfaces.
The Amia chair has flat, thick legs and a round-cornered backrest, which can be covered with various bold fabrics and specified with wooden armrests cantilevering out from each side.
The seat was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside a door pull made from bands of colourful wood and storage units made from metal first released in the 1950s.

Alternating bands of naturally colourful timber characterises this slender door pull by Australian interior design studio YSG for hardware brand Bankston Architectural.

Spanish furniture brand Andreu World worked with designer Rodolfo Dordoni on this broad, sturdy meeting table.
The Planar table features A-shaped legs at each end and a top comprising a chunky lower section topped by a slim contrasting tabletop.
British workplace brand Bisley has added to the available colours and functionalities of its MultiDrawer storage units, which were originally released in 1958.
The units come in various hues, including occasional limited edition colours, as well as size formats and versions that can be used as a base for desks.

US brand Cicil has released a series of pure wool rugs characterised by a timeless check print reinterpreted in an exaggerated size.

The New Moon chair aims to combine the design aesthetic of European steam-bent seats with the materiality of bamboo, a popular construction material used and grown natively in South East Asia.

Swiss brand Impact Acoustic has grown rather than manufactured its latest wall tiles, which are made from mycelium: the root network of fungi.
