Wake Sleep lamp by Tala among 11 new products on Dezeen Showroom


Dezeen Showroom: a bedside lamp with a ceramic base that casts a sun-like glow is among 11 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.
Wake Sleep light by Thomas Heatherwick for Tala
A gently undulating base and bulb that mimics the appearance of the sun during sunrise and sunset comprises this lamp-cum-alarm clock by designer Thomas Heatherwick for lighting brand Tala.
The Wake Sleep lamp can be controlled via an app and/or smart home technology, allowing it to be turned on and off gradually to reinforce natural sleep and wake patterns.
The lamp was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside a pendant light made from cork and a chair finished using the Japanese technique of shou sugi ban, which results in blackened wood.

Sheets of natural stone are arranged into graphic patterns in this series of wall coverings by Italian brand Antolini.
The Couture collection was created by designer Alessandro La Spada and contains 12 different patterns, each of which can be customised further to create striking designs.

Teepee pavilion by Apirat Boonruangthaworn for Hawaii Thai
Designer Apirat Boonruangthaworn collaborated with furniture brand Hawaii Thai on this outdoor structure containing a capacious sofa and enclosed by a canopy and rattan panels.
The Teepee pavilion is made from hardwearing materials, allowing it to be left outdoors year-round without the elements taking a toll on it.
Concept indoor tile collection by Casalgrande Padana
The indoor iteration of Italian brand Casalgrande Padana's Concept tile collection includes various geometric relief options, including hexagonal tiles and ridged slabs.
Styles of the Concept indoor tile collection can be mixed and matched to create dynamic surfaces throughout interiors.

Corka pendant light by Samuel Wilkinson for Zero Lighting
British designer Samuel Wilkinson worked with lighting brand Zero Lighting on a trio of pendant lights with cork-made lampshades.
The Corka pendant light comes in three colourways – light brown, dark brown and mottled – all of which are suspended on a linen-covered cord.
Marble Lab surfaces new colourways by Fiandre
Five new styles have been added to Italian brand Fiandre's existing range of Marble Lab surfaces,
Named Dama Bianca, Silver Root, Breccia Imperiale, Quarzite Vals and Luna Limestone, all of the new hues feature characterful striations reminiscent of naturally quarried stone.

Italian tile manufacturer Marazzi has expanded its Lume tile collection with four new hues and two new finish styles: Swing and Rake.
The Lume tile colourways now include Bone, Caramel, Emerald and Ocean, as well as preexisting White, Blue, Green, Greige, Off White and Turquoise.

Designed specifically for use outside, Italian brand Casalgrande Padana's Concept outdoor tile collection comprises four neutral colourways flecked to create a dynamic surface.
The tiles are 20 millimetres thick to ensure durability and can be laid onto a variety of substrates.

Vipassa chair by Anew Craft Studio
Named after a Buddhist meditation technique, the Vipassa chair was created by Thai practice Anew Craft Studio to encourage users to reflect and unwind.
The chair is given a distinctive appearance by the studio's employment of the Japanese technique of shou sugi ban, which sees wood – in this case, teak – charred to blackness.
