Smooth sofa by Tylko among 12 new products on Dezeen Showroom


Dezeen Showroom: a sofa comprising modular components that have rounded, smoothed corners is among 12 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.
Smooth sofa by Krystian Kowalski for Tylko
Beyond its signature storage products, Polish furniture brand Tylko worked with industrial designer Krystian Kowalski on a segmented, chunky modular sofa.
The aptly named Smooth sofa comes in a choice of 20 differently shaped modules, which come together to create bespoke configurated systems. Users can select various upholstery colourways.
Tylko's sofa was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside an poodle-esque stainless steel chair and a piece of children's furniture that changes function as infants develop.

ArchiPlan Compact basin by VitrA Bathrooms
Short-of-space bathrooms are catered for in the sink department with this compact basin by Turkish brand VitrA Bathrooms.
The ArchiPlan Compact basin is only 28 centimetres wide and can be mounted atop a counter or attached directly to the wall.

The aptly named 1977 sofa is comprised of various modules of differing sizes, shapes and purposes, all of which come in a selection of colours for the upholstery.

The appearance of daylight coming through a partially-closed shutter is mimicked in this wall panel by Thai brand Rocco Decoration and designer Kamonwan Yongpanit.
The Morgen screen comprises vertical polystyrene fins backlit by a lit panel, and is designed to bring airiness and brightness to windowless interiors.
Terracotta collection tiles by Keraben
Spanish tile brand Keraben looked to the physical and aesthetic qualities of terracotta when designing this range of earthy tiles.
The eponymous tile range comes in various size formats and patterns for installation on both walls and floors.

The result of a collaboration between Thai design brands Qualy and Harvbrand, this shelving system comprises branch-like uprights and round-cornered shelves.
The Treevive shelving system is made from wood offcuts and recycled plastic, creating a storage solution made entirely from waste materials, according to the brands.

The Gomo armchair comes in a selection of bases that can be interchanged, and the brand aims for it to be used in various hospitality, residential and workplace interiors.
Parry cot by Jitrin Jintaprecha for Mother Goose
Designer Jitrin Jintaprecha and Thai brand Mother Goose have collaborated on a furniture item that can be a cot, bunk bed, desk, sofa or bed, depending on how its components are arranged.
The Parry cot is made from warm-toned teak wood and aims to grow and adapt with a child depending on their needs as they develop.
Poodle armchair by Mati Sipiora
This chair by Polish designer Mati Sipiora references the shape of poodles in their dog and balloon forms.
The aptly-named Poodle armchair comprises a spindly stainless steel frame threaded with bulbous segments that supports a round upholstered seat.
Original Modern Shelving by Tylko
Furniture brand Tylko has released a system of fully customisable storage units that can be fully configured using an online tool, down to individual compartments.
The Original Modern Shelving system can be specified in a large range of sizes, functionalities and colourways, including recently-added Reisinger Pink, developed in collaboration with Argentinian designer Andrés Reisinger.

This three-legged stool by Thai studio Atelier 2+ for furniture brand Moonler appears like a pile of brown stones leaning against one another.
The Pebble stool celebrates the natural grain of chamchuri timber, a species indigenous to Thailand.
