Dezeen Showroom: a lighting range informed by the appearance of pylons, signals and beacons is among 11 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.
Pyl lighting by Petite Friture
Produced by Petite Friture for French design duo Marie & Alexandre, this lighting collection is comprised of cylindrical elements that reference various forms of communication infrastructure.
Pyl lighting includes floor, pendant, wall and ceiling lights that all share the same visual language, allowing users to create cohesive lighting schemes across interiors.
Pyl was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside a series of task chairs by Vipp that combine leather and metal, and a workplace meeting pod geared towards creating comfortable environments for neurodiverse employees.

Danish homeware brand Vipp has added new models to its collection of task chairs, which are united by the combination of aluminium and leather.
The brand's Swivel chair range now includes the Vipp453+, which adds enhanced ergonomic options to the original form, with height adjustability and a five-legged base ending in castors.
Hybla seating system by Elisa Ossino for Boffi De Padova
The laid-back aesthetics of 1970s lounge furniture informed this modular sofa system by Italian furniture company Boffi De Padova.
The Hybla seating system comprises various-shaped modules all topped by plump cushions, creating an inviting and versatile sofa that can be reconfigured as needed.
Template, Acre and Marl fabrics by West Elm and Designtex
US textile company Designtex worked with homeware brand West Elm on three new fabrics that form part of the pair's ongoing collaborative textile releases.
Template, Acre and Marl have distinctive geometric patterns available in a myriad of colourways, each of which is manufactured to be as hard-wearing as possible.

Poldina Classic lamp by Zafferano America
Design brand Zafferano America has reinterpreted the typical restaurant table lamp into a version that is rechargeable and cordless.
As well as a removable, magnetic bulb module that shines for ten hours when fully charged, the Poldina Classic light has a pleated fabric shade supported by a metallic, sculptural body.

UK-based brand Quadrant harnessed the natural properties of cork in this series of flooring aptly named Corkform.
The range encompasses 16 natural colourways, all of which are durable, insulating, sound-dampening and soft to tread on, thanks to the material's makeup.

CottoMilano tiles by Domenico Orefice for Ceramiche Keope
Designer Domenico Orefice and Italian brand Ceramiche Keope worked together to develop a collection of tiles that put a contemporary spin on Italian materials and architecture.
All CottoMilano tiles have a terracotta-like appearance, with decor tiles featuring glossy patterns decorated with simplified outlines of famous Milanese buildings.

Calma lounge chair by Layer for Andreu World
British industrial designer Benjamin Hubert and his studio Layer worked with Spanish furniture brand Andreu World on this lounge chair, which has an embracing shape crafted without the use of glue.
The Calma lounge chair can be taken apart for maintenance and for recycling at the end of its lifespan. Bulky levers are swapped for a leather looped tag that can be pulled to control the tilt of the seat.
Takeout lamp by Buster + Punch
British lighting and homeware brand Buster + Punch has released a portable lamp that has a cylindrical shape and metal-and-glass materiality.
The Takeout lamp is intended for use on tables in restaurants and other venues, as well as outdoor dining events like barbecues and picnics.
Harp space dividing system by Flokk
Scandi design principles meet modularity in this system of space dividers for open plan offices by Flokk-owned, UK-based brand Connection.
The Harp space dividing system is named for its translucent screens, which see bungee cords pulled taut between upper and lower rails, akin to the strings of a harp.
MeSpace workstation by MeSpace
US-based company MeSpace has launched an office pod that has been designed with neurodiverse people in mind.
The MeSpace workstation aims to cater to individuals with sensory needs through both aesthetic and experiential considerations, while also improving wellbeing for all users.
