Dezeen Showroom: designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Spanish furniture brand Andreu World, the Planar table aims to bring a strong architectural character to the meeting room.
The Planar conference table has a unique design, combining material pairings in one robust yet elegant tabletop, with rounded edges and a protruding and pleasingly chunky lower layer.
The base comprises a central beam acting as a structural support, connecting and fixing the legs at each end.
Andreu World produces the table with an aluminium main structure, which is available in a huge variety of leg and tabletop materials, spanning wood and laminate to glass, linoleum, technical stone and marble.
It is also designed for functionality, with an interior capable of hiding away cables, and is available in various dimensions.
"Its elegant presence is capable of transforming any space into an environment conducive to creativity and collaboration," said Andreu World.
