Dezeen Showroom: Curiousa founder and designer Esther Patterson aimed to bring playfulness and cheer to daily bathroom rituals with the Pastello wall light collection.

Curiousa's Pastello bathroom lighting range is made to order in slip-cast ceramic, free-blown glass or a mix of both materials.

There are several different wall lighting designs in the collection, ranging from layered plates to sculptural forms that hang like beads, all in delicate pastel shades.

The colours reveal unique depths when lit, according to Patterson, due to the "unpredictable magic" of the natural pigments and materials.

"This range embodies my love of colour, texture and playful form, bringing a sense of joy and individuality to any bathroom," said the designer.

Handmade in the UK, the Pastello collection is rated from IP44 to IP65 for use in wet environments and is available in a range of sizes up to 270 millimetres.
