Over 100 architecture, interiors and design projects shortlisted for Dezeen Awards China 2025
Dezeen has announced the shortlisted projects for this year's Dezeen Awards China, which include a seaside pavilion on the remote island of Chaishan and a cultural centre sheltered by sloping roofs in Guangzhou.
In total, 120 projects by studios from 30 different cities are in the running to win awards in 23 categories spanning architecture, interiors, and design.
Architecture studios Foster + Partners, Studio Link-Arc, Atelier Xi, interior studios Linehouse, Cheng Chung Design, Yatofu, and technology company DJI are among the studios with shortlisted projects.
We have also announced the Designers of the Year shortlists, which include Atelier tao+c, Domain Architects and Benwu Studio.
Shortlists revealed last week on WeChat
Dezeen Awards China 2025, in partnership with Bentley, revealed all shortlisted projects last week on Dezeen's WeChat account. The shortlisted projects were scored by our judges including architects Ziyu Zhuang and Patrik Schumacher from Zaha Hadid Architects, interior designers Keiji Ashizawa and Bin Wu, designer Min Chen and curator Aric Chen.

The category winners, and overall project of the year winners, will be announced live at our annual Dezeen Awards China party in Shanghai in October. This year's party will be hosted at Kimpton Qiantan Shanghai hotel.

Dezeen Awards China is the first regional edition of Dezeen Awards which celebrates the best architecture, interiors and design in China.
Now in its third year, the annual awards programme is in partnership with Bentley as part of a wider collaboration to inspire, support and champion design excellence and showcase innovation that creates a better and more sustainable world.
This ambition complements Bentley's architecture and design business initiatives, including the Bentley Home range of furnishings and real estate projects around the world.
