Mystone Pietra Ligure tiles by Marazzi

Dezeen Showroom: Italian tile manufacturer Marazzi has used its latest technologies to create a contemporary take on slate with the Mystone Pietra Ligure range.

The Mystone Pietra Ligure is a porcelain stoneware tile based on the slate of Italy's Liguria region.

Its surface is created with Marazzi's 3D Ink technology, which the brand says gives an extremely realistic and tactile appearance.

The brand designed the tile to be used across indoor and outdoor spaces, and to enable designers to create dialogue between architecture and nature.

The outdoor version of the tile has a 20-millimetre thickness and can be ordered with an anti-slip finish applied.

Mystone Pietra Ligure is available in four colours evocative of the natural palette of slate, including the cool-leaning Bianco and Anthracite and the warmer shades of Beige and Cenere.
