Dezeen Showroom: a task chair that combines mesh, upholstery and metal is among seven new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.
HÅG Tion mesh task chair by Flokk
Norwegian brand Flokk worked with Big-Game, Anderssen & Voll, and Hunting & Narud on a new version of its HÅG Tion task chair, which is lightened by its mesh backrest and aluminium frame.
The HÅG Tion mesh task chair comes in various finishes for the fabric elements and frame, with any combination creating a pleasing material contrast.
The task chair was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside acoustic panelling that has a tofu-like appearance and tiles made from post-consumer PVC from the construction industry.

Tofu tiles by Cecilie Manz for Impact Acoustic
Swiss brand Impact Acoustic worked with designer Cecilie Manz on a range of acoustic tiles for walls that are made from textile industry byproducts.

Khronos divider system by Rafa Ortega for Kriskadecor
Spanish brand Kriskadecor collaborated with designer Rafa Ortega on a series of ceiling-hung room dividers – an adaptation of the brand's signature chain designs.

Echoes rug collection by Kristine Five Melvær for Volver
Areas of varying pile height and differently coloured shapes create patterns across the surface of these rugs by Norwegian design brand Volver and designer Kristine Five Melvær.
Made from New Zealand wool and bamboo silk, the Echoes rug collection comes in three designs – Imprint, Trace and Veil – all of which delve into the designer's experience of memory.
Post-use drain pipes and window panes are among post-consumer PVC products that Dutch brand Pretty Plastic repurposed into a series of geometric tiles.
The tiles come in three geometric designs and four colours, which have a dappled surface pattern that creates dynamic compositions across facades and roofs.
