Architectural designer Mizzi Studio has created a pavilion at London's Kew Gardens featuring a translucent flax roof. The Carbon Garden Pavilion was designed as a "physical extension" of the landscape and intended to emulate a living organism.

Commenters admired the "cute pavilion", with one saying "we need more garden follies and we like mushrooms". Another agreed, calling it "whimsical and tectonically rigorous at the same time – quite an accomplishment".
