Dezeen Debate features "surprisingly sophisticated" prefabricated homes

The latest edition of our Dezeen Debate newsletter features a trio of identical prefabricated holiday homes created for three sisters in Queensland. Subscribe to Dezeen Debate now.
Prefabrication specialist Blok Modular worked with Australian architecture studio Vokes and Peters to create Blok Three Sisters – a row of houses which were craned onto the site and assembled by a local builder.
Readers were split, with some praising the "connection to light and the outdoors" and "surprisingly sophisticated result", while others condemned the "lack of regard for context".
Other stories in this week's newsletter that sparked debate include a 700-year-old church tower suspended above a London skyscraper construction site, an AI-powered tattoo device that promises to make the process less painful and a tiny 12-sided church in Copenhagen.
