Dezeen Awards 2025 design shortlist reveals 79 leading projects

Dezeen has announced the design shortlist for this year's Dezeen Awards, which includes projects by India Mahdavi, Konstantin Grcic and MVRDV.

Shortlisted designs this year include Nike's Hyperice Hyperboot and a foamless 3D-knitted sofa by London furnituremaker Isomi.

Also amongst the shortlisted projects are chairs made of hemp and eelgrass by Foersom and Hiort-Lorenzen for Normann Copenhagen, and an architectural lighting installation in Aesop's Hainan store by Other Matter.

Dezeen Awards 2025 shortlists announced this week

Dezeen Awards 2025, in partnership with Bentley, will reveal all shortlisted projects this week. The architecture and interiors shortlists were announced earlier this week and the sustainability shortlist will be revealed tomorrow.

This year's nomination-based shortlists for Designers of the Year and the Bentley Lighthouse Award will be announced on Friday and next Monday respectively.

"The design shortlist captures problem-solving at its best with designers creating products that make life easier, or simply more beautiful," said Ben Saltmer, Dezeen Awards judge and head of lifestyle design at Bentley.
