Corkform flooring by Quadrant

Dezeen Showroom: UK-based brand Quadrant has released a flooring solution for commercial interiors made from surplus corks from the wine industry in Portugal.
With Corkform, Quadrant harnessed the natural properties of cork, including durability, sound absorption, thermal insulation and softness.
These qualities translate usefully into flooring, which ensures spaces become quieter, warmer and more pleasant to walk around.
Cork's durability also makes it a suitable choice for high-traffic interiors.
The material's natural origins means that it contains no PVC and meets the strictest international indoor air quality standards, according to the brand.
"Made predominantly of material recycled from the bottle-stopper industry in Portugal, Corkform has all of cork's unique benefits," said Quadrant.
"It is a beautifully engineered, carbon negative alternative to timber, laminate and LVT floors."
