Join our upcoming annual edition of “modern conversations”, where we examine spaces of pedagogy to analyze the shifting terrains of educational practices, institutions, and environments that influence the creation and dissemination of knowledge. This inquiry prompts us to consider: where does learning occur, both historically and in the contemporary world? What is the connection between modernity and education? In what ways has modernity transformed educational spaces? When did education adopt a formal structure, and how was this reflected spatially? How have socio-political dynamics shaped these environments? Most crucially, why is it critical to examine the spaces where education happens?
