Buildner asks participants to design a multi-generational family retreat in Howard Falls, Pennsylvania, USA.
The plans must consider the environmental constraints of the environment, including flood risks and biodiversity, and offer a functional space that is also sustainable.
Applications must be submitted by 8 September 2025 via the online upload panel.

The Unbuilt Awards focuses on unrealised architecture and design projects, which can be published or unpublished, fully designed or still conceptual.
The awards are separated into three categories: small, medium and large-scale projects.
Participants are asked to submit sketches, renderings, plans, sections, elevations and diagrams. The deadline for submissions is 20 November 2025.

Mujassam Watan Urban Sculpture Challenge
For this competition, Buildner has partnered with the Mujassam Watan Initiative to offer creative professionals the chance to design urban sculptures in Saudi Arabia.
To be located in either transportation corridor Abu Hadriyah Road or Al-Khobar's Tharwa Sea Front, the sculptures should reflect the cultural identity of Saudi Arabia.
Submissions should be uploaded via the online panel by 27 August 2025.

Re:Form – New Life for Old Spaces
With the Re:Form – New Life for Old Spaces competition, contestants are encouraged to find neglected, used or abandoned sites anywhere in the world and outline plans to revive them.
Focusing on adaptive reuse, the site locations can either be currently in use or abandoned, and the final outcome can be commercial, residential or cultural.
Materials must be submitted by 2 September 2025 via the online upload panel.

Rethinking an Apartment Concept in the Heart of Isola
This competition, organised by TerraViva, welcomes design plans for an apartment in Milan's Isola District, in keeping with its "avant-garde spirit".
The plans should incorporate practical and innovative features suitable for a young professional or couple.
Two A1 panels, a brief text describing the project and four to six moodboard pictures should be submitted by 12 September 2025.
