Terrain modular seating by Webb for Connection

Dezeen Showroom: created by design studio Webb for Flokk-owned, UK-based furniture brand Connection, Terrain is a modular lounge seating system with a soft, organic feel.
Connection describes Terrain as a space-defining feature that shapes interiors the way natural terrain shapes the natural world, while also providing comfortable seating for conversation and collaboration in workplaces, education settings and lobbies.

"We wanted Terrain to bring rhythm and flow," said Webb. "It is defining space, but in a softer manner."
"Being a lounge piece, it demands generous proportions – but we were conscious to make Terrain both compact and simple to specify and understand."

The range features just four one-metre-wide modules for ease of configuration. These can be arranged and rearranged in numerous ways, creating anything from a classic corner unit to a circular conversation pit or a snaking seating island.
The furniture is made in the UK using materials chosen for integrity and longevity, including an FSC-certified plywood frame and BioPur foam made partly from renewable feedstock for reduced carbon emissions.
Dual upholstery is available, as is contrast stitching in eight colours. Piping details are also included as standard.
