Meridian rugs by Armadillo among six new products on Dezeen Showroom
Dezeen Showroom: a series of rugs that foreground weaving patterns and fibres over colour and print are among six new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.
Rug brand Armadillo has released a collection of rugs named Meridian, which celebrate the tactile effects created by different weave styles, construction methods and fibre types.
The result is a range of nine rugs rendered in various neutral colourways, each handmade in India by skilled artisans.
Meridian was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside a 3D-printed material made from waste ceramic and a limited-edition pizza oven rendered in an aptly selected burnt orange paint.

Antao 3D material by KaschKasch and Villeroy & Boch
German design duo KaschKasch and design brand Villeroy & Boch worked together to release a material made from internally recycled ceramic.
The Antao 3D material is then formed into ribbed basins as a result of being 3D printed.

Dome XL (Gen 2) pizza oven in Black Orange by Tonester and Gozney
Pizza oven brand Gozney worked with paint company Tonester on a limited-edition Dome XL (Gen 2) pizza oven in Black Orange.
The paint colour – which is a burnt umber tone – was selected for use in conjunction with the capacious appliance due to its associations with earth, fire and heat.

Milano Impressions surfaces by PoliLam
US brand PoliLam's latest collection of surfaces is made via an artificial pressing method based on how stone is formed in nature.
Milano Impressions surfaces comprise 12 stone-like finishes, from striated marble to terrazzo, paired with the durability of laminates.

Solace Chain pendant light by Ross Gardam
The Solace Chain pendant light is an evolution of Australian design studio Ross Gardam's wider Solace lighting range, deviating from other fixtures in the inclusion of chains in its design.
The metal links hang taut down to the glass-shaded lights but slack between them, creating a sculptural aesthetic common to all of the various glass and metal finishes available.

Precioustone collection by Antolini
All 130 options in Italian brand Antolini's Precioustone collection are made from various types of real semi-precious gemstones and minerals.
Thin slices of amethyst, crystal quartz, blue agate and petrified wood, among other minerals, are arranged into slabs, which are particularly striking when backlit.
