Jaderalmeida opens US flagship in New York

Promotion: with the opening of its showroom in New York, presence at ICFF and upcoming NYCxDesign debut, Brazilian brand Jaderalmeida intends to establish itself in the North American design scene.
Founded by designer Jader Almeida in 2004, the brand opened its first US flagship at 124 Hudson Street in November 2025.
Almeida's work manipulates form and materials, exploring how subtle details can transform a space.

Jaderalmeida's latest showroom houses furniture crafted to "awaken new perspectives". The result is a space where "aesthetics and emotion intertwine," spotlighting the collection's artistry.
"The space embodies Jader Almeida's philosophy and reveals the essence of design that inspires and transforms, inviting guests to explore a sensory experience," said the brand.
Jaderalmeida will take part in the 2026 edition of the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) when it returns to the Javits Centre in New York City from 17 to 19 May 2026, Booth 317.

Jaderalmeida will also make its debut at the wider NYCxDesign event this year, which sees broader activities across the city, facilitated by its new permanent showroom.
Among the exhibitions, talks, installations, tours, fairs, parties and pop-ups taking place, Jaderalmeida will launch its new releases, including seating, lighting and decorative objects.

Among these is the Node Line, a collection comprising side tables, coffee tables and tabletop supports, through which the brand explores the idea of growth and connection.
"Three circular wooden forms unite into a single body, supported by central feet that evoke the image of an inseparable whole," said Jaderalmeida.

Two new lounge seats will also be unveiled: the Berg Lounge Chair and the Lume Armchair.
The former has what Jaderalmeida describes as a "generous, enveloping silhouette", balancing comfort and form.
The latter follows a similar aesthetic language, offering a compact yet welcoming seat that integrates seamlessly into both residential and contract environments.

Another addition to the catalogue is the Trace Chair, constructed from solid wood softened by its fabric or leather upholstered seat, backrest and armrests.
According to Jaderalmeida, the piece translates the brand's structural sensitivity into an everyday object of quiet elegance.

The next few months will be made busier still for the brand, as it is also set to open a second showroom in May, this time in Bethesda, Maryland.
The showroom's location in Washington, DC, intends to complement the Tribeca flagship whilst reinforcing the brand's broader national presence.

Born in Santa Catarina, Almeida has over two decades of experience and ten showrooms throughout Brazil.
