Flo wall light by Soktas

Dezeen Showroom: Australian design brand Soktas has released a sculptural wall lamp with a fluid glass shade mounted onto a metal plate.

Flo is intended for use in bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas, where it casts a gentle glow that pools on the wall around it.

According to Soktas, each fixture is individually made, resulting in subtle yet characterful variations that make each one unique, particularly the hand-blown glass shades.

The contrast between the metal disc that serves as the mounting plate and the more natural aesthetic of the glass results in a sculptural effect.

The glass element comes in various amorphous shapes. Users are able to select between warm white or warm bulb colours, and from a choice of metallic finishes for the plate.

The brand envisages them being installed solo or in pairs for a symmetrical appearance.
